Dr Jasmin Hyatt recently attended the launch of Pauline Gill’s new book, Eight Weeks and Beyond: A Memoir of Dogs, Trauma, and Breeding with Purpose, at Cowra Library. Jasmin even contributed to the book a chapter detailing a few of the common canine reproduction myths!

Eight Weeks and Beyond combines Pauline’s personal story with her decades of experience and interest in ethical, purpose-driven dog breeding.

Pauline explores the critical first eight weeks of a puppy’s life and how thoughtful breeding, early development and careful placement can influence the dog that puppy ultimately becomes.

The book discusses the Tapua Method, a science-based puppy development program incorporating Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Sensory Introduction (ESI).

It also explores important considerations for responsible dog breeders, including genetics, health testing, puppy development and the ethical responsibilities involved in bringing a litter into the world.
